G-Star School of the Arts

Terms & Conditions

Last updated 20 August 2026

These terms apply to purchases made through the G-Star School of the Arts events website. Buying a ticket or paying dues through this site means you accept them. The site is operated by the school; it is not a commercial ticket agency.

1. Who may buy

Purchases are for students currently enrolled at G-Star School of the Arts. When you buy, you enter a student ID number, and the site checks it against the school's enrolment records. Some events are also limited to particular grades, in which case the grade on the school's records decides eligibility — not the grade selected on the form.

If a student ID is not recognised, or the student is not in an eligible grade, the purchase cannot be completed. If you believe that is a mistake, email ldickens@gstarschool.org rather than trying another ID number.

Most events allow one purchase per student. Once a purchase has completed, the same student ID cannot be used to buy again for that event.

2. Prices, payment and discount codes

3. Your ticket

After a successful purchase you receive a confirmation email. For ticketed events it contains a QR code and a link to your ticket.

4. Guests

Some events allow a student to bring one or more guests who do not attend G-Star. Where guests are permitted:

5. Refunds and cancellations

Purchases are final. The school does not offer refunds once a purchase has been completed. This applies whether or not the student attends the event.

Please check the event, the date and the number of guests before you pay. If you think you have been charged in error — for example charged twice for the same ticket — contact the school and it will be looked into.

If a payment is refunded or reversed through PayPal for any reason, the corresponding ticket stops working immediately and will not admit anyone. The school is notified when that happens, including whether the ticket had already been scanned at the door.

If the school cancels or reschedules an event, it will contact purchasers using the email address given at checkout.

6. Admission and conduct

A valid ticket does not guarantee admission. The school may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who does not follow school rules or staff instructions, or whose conduct puts others at risk. School policies apply at school events, including events held off site. No refund is due where admission is refused or withdrawn for these reasons.

7. Your information

What the site collects, why, who can see it and how long it is kept are set out in the Privacy Policy. If you are buying for a student under 18, please read it with them.

8. Accuracy and availability

The school tries to keep event details, prices and dates accurate, but they may change. Where an event has a limited number of places, places are sold until that limit is reached; reaching the limit may occur while you are completing payment.

The site depends on services outside the school's control, including PayPal, and may be unavailable at times. The school is not responsible for a purchase that could not be completed because of an outage, though it will help you complete one afterwards where it can.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and the terms in force are the ones published at the time of your purchase.

10. Contact

Questions about a purchase, a ticket, or these terms: ldickens@gstarschool.org. Some events list their own contact address on the event page — that address will usually get you a faster answer for that event.
